Zonnebloem Wine Estate produces some of South Africa's favourite wines. The brand values are centred on generational experience, history, and high levels of accumulated skill to achieve excellence. This approach has seen them through since the 17th century.

In partnership with Sandilandsduffett, Ginger Storm designed the gift packaging for Zonnebloem.
Zonnebloem wines are a mid-tier staple in South African households. The brand wanted to capitalise on this sentiment with a gift box that could be sold all year round.
The Zonnebloem gift box shows ingenuity in its mechanical construction. The box closes with an embossed Zonnebloem button and seals with black elastic, holding together a maroon front and clock-patterned box. The design of the box creates a surprise inside which makes it an appealing gift. The gold foil adds sophistication to the packaging and the contemporary pattern created from the brand crest lends a contemporary touch to the overall visual.
